About The Technology

Technology Name: POWER OVER ETHERNET
Sector: I/T-component interface
Technology Description:
The technology, Power over Ethernet (PoE), describes a system, which transmits electrical power, along with data, to remote devices over standard twisted-pair cable in an Ethernet network. Infomart has developed the world’s first high power PoE endpoint solution to address the emerging high power needs of video surveillance and wireless access points where it would be inconvenient and expensive to supply power separately. The current standards and available product offerings do not allow for sufficient power for these applications. Infomart’s stand-alone high power PoE splitters and integration-ready modules are commercially available today, so the challenge now is to find ways to break into the marketplace.
